Independence day of Pakistan English Speech

Pakistan Independence Day Speeches for Students

Dear Sir, Teachers, Colleagues and Friends, Assalam o Alaikum!

We have all come together on this auspicious occasion to celebrate our country's independence. But before I continue my speech, I want to clarify the concept of independence. What is independence? Some of you may think that this is liberation from anti-Muslim forces. Some of you may think that this is the freedom to do anything. But in reality, independence is a much broader concept. It includes not only independence from oppressive forces, but also equal opportunity for every citizen to perfect his personality.

Independence is undoubtedly a gift.

We must be grateful to our forefathers and the Muslim leaders of the league for this gift. When we discuss Independence Day, we need to shed some light on the hard work, determination and struggle of our leaders and forefathers to secure an independent motherland. During the 1947 migration, thousands of people lost their lives trying to live independently.

Dear friends, we must be grateful to our ancestors that we live in peace thanks to their sacrifices. We don't have to go through what they went through. Sitting on a chair or delivering Pakistan Independence Day speeches on a stage will not convey how much sacrifice they have made to get Pakistan. So when you celebrate August 14, don't forget what our ancestors did too.

Dear audience, when we look at the current state of Pakistan, patriots like me get hurt. We have deviated from the path shown to us by Quaid e Azam and Allama Iqbal. Pakistan is not well respected internationally. We are considered by many to be a haven for terrorists with an unstable economy. Pakistan has the potential to be one of the largest economies due to its geo-strategic location.

Now our task is to make Pakistan a better country. We must follow the instructions of Muhammad Ali Jinnah to make our beloved Pakistan a developed country.

I believe that by transforming our immoral characters into morality, we can do this. Pakistan Zindabad!
